How it feels if you can swim together with the sharks? How if they can bite you while they were hungry? Menjangan Besar Island located 10 minutes in south Karimunjawa Island. This island has 52 hectares, used for a captivity of sharks. You will get the new swimming experience face to face with the sharks, one of the most activity that you must try on Karimunjawa. There are many ways to going there :
- 5 hours from Jepara to Karimunjawa by regular ferry. Be there 1 hour earlier before the scheduled (currently ferry will departs at 8am)
Cost : Rp. 42.000
- 2,5 hours from Jepara to Karimunjawa by speedboat. You need to be booked in advance.
Cost : Rp 110.000
- Last option by speedboat from Tanjung Emas in Semarang, currently departs on two days per week.
