This is tutorial to create your Epic Travel story. Once you created it, we will review it first before we publish your story.
To get started creating your first Story, Login and go to Journesia Dashboard.
Go to “Your Story” menu and click “Add New Story Button”
The first box is where you’ll want to enter the Title of your Story. Make it Short, Straight, and represent your story.
Next is the Content Area or editor. This is where you’ll actually type the content of your story and add your beautiful images. You also can add Images, Gallery, Video, Quote, and Map. You can find the further tutorial on the other article.
If you look on the right side of the box, you’ll see two tabs. There are two modes of editing posts: Visual and Text.
The Visual tab will bring up the visual WYSIWYG editor. WYSIWYG just means “what you see is what you get.” Here you’ll see a formatting toolbar with lots of options for formatting your content. If you’re familiar with Microsoft Word or any other word processing software, most of these icons should look familiar.
If you click the Text tab, this will reveal a plain-text HTML version of the editor. This version of the editor is for editing the HTML code of your story. For most users, the Visual editor is the easiest way to write posts.
The next section are for Original Source. You can leave it empty. But, if you re-publish article/story from your own blog, you can enter the source URL. It will let the readers choose whether they want to read on your blog or read it in Journesia. fair enough huh?
At the top of the right column on this screen you’ll see the Featured Image box. Here, your can add your best photo that represent your story. Make sure this image 1,400px wide so it will be looks good on this website. Before you insert your images, we highly recommend you to optimize your images on kraken.io. It will reduce your image file size without reducing the quality. It will improve your story load times on Journesia.
The next section are for Places and Categories assigned to your Story. Remember that you can only maximum 3 places and 3 categories.
At the bottom on this screen you’ll see the Create a New Story button. Here, your can save your story and we will review it before published. Don’t worry, you can edit and update your story later.
